Hi!
I am Manon , illustrator and graphic designer. What started at the end of 2024
as a personal way to capture memories, grew into
DoodlePath - a place where I transform other people's memories into unique
illustrations.
More about DoodlePath
How my path began
The idea for DoodlePath actually came quite spontaneously. I wanted to create something
special for my boyfriend. He is someone who loves to
to reminisce . From the big, special moments to the small,
often forgotten things that say so much about who you are. So I started to
illustrate: our first meeting, vacations, the moments we spent together
experienced. But soon the small, everyday things that we
perhaps quickly forgotten, such as the fries on Friday or the funny
comments that only we understand. Thus a path of memories was created.
I had so much fun making it and he was so happy with it, I thought, “This
I want to do this for others too!” And so DoodlePath was born.
A path to preserve memories
Unlike my friend, who doesn't have to make any effort to
to recall memories. I often need photos to help me remember the exact things
remember. So I'm someone who quickly forgets details - especially the small ones,
meaningful moments that are so important. But with a DoodlePath
those memories stay with you much better. An illustration has
something magical: it makes the memory more vivid and makes you remember it
moment over and over again, even if you might otherwise miss the small details
would be forgotten. The excitement I feel when I see a memory
blossoming in an illustration is exactly why I get so happy from making
from DoodlePaths. It's great to see how other people's memories
come to life and gain meaning again and again.
Deeper layers in a path
With my background in psychology, I have always been fascinated by how
memories shape us. Why do certain moments remain so vivid in our minds?
memory, while others fade? How do the experiences we have affect
our daily lives? This has a great influence on the way I work.
My illustrations are not just about capturing a moment, but also
about the deeper layers and emotions that come with it.
A playful path with humor
My illustrations always contain a bit of humor and a wink, which ensures
for a playful twist . It's not just about the illustration being pretty,
but also that it puts a smile on your face.
